The research group is led by Dr. Zhixiang Lin, Assistant Professor in Statistics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Our group develops statistical methods and computational tools for addressing significant scientific questions, especially those related to biomedical research, large-scale genomic data, health and clinical data. Our most recent application area include single cell genomics and neuroscience.
For graduate and undergraduate students interested in joining the research group, please contact Dr. Zhixiang Lin to discuss. We seek a postdoctoral fellow, please click Positions for details.
We welcome collaboration and are enthusiastic in conversation with researchers who are interested in biomedicine (including but not limited to genomics and computational biology) and data science.
Here is a quote that I like (I saw it on Prof. Hongzhe Li's website): The mere formulation of a problem is far more often essential than its solution, which may be merely a matter of mathematical or experimental skill. To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle requires creative imagination and marks real advances in science. -Albert Einstein
